(1) Hole 5: Beautifully framed in its own picture perfect valley with a dramatic split fairway giving one a choice of "you take the high road&ndashI'll take the low road" with a chance of par or the opportunity for a heroic birdie on this long par 4.

(2) Hole 10: Features a spectacular fairway on this uphill par 4 where one seeks to avoid the large waste bunker left and the string of smaller bunkers stretching through the fairway. While on the adjoining downhill 16th hole a strategic tee shot placement is required to set up one's approach shot to a slopping green, which is gently nestled between a beautiful pristine lake and a difficult bunker behind the green.

(3) The High Point is reached on par 3, 14th hole: Nestled along the forested slopes of the Taman Dayu highlands, there lies a sloping green fronted by a two-meter deep bunker that awaits one's tee shot. The Taman Dayu Club opens from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m (tee time) from Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays. The clubhouse is located in Pasuruan, East Java and takes approximately an hour driving from the province's capital, Surabaya.

Bukit Darmo Golf is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus II. This golf course is well-known for incorporating fine world class golfing facilities and services, complete with other sports and recreation facilities at the residential complex designed to satisfy your quality life style.

It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Surabaya's City center and in the Surabaya golf triangle with Ciputra Golf and Graha Famili just a short wedge shot away. The majestic clubhouse offers spacious locker rooms, a fully stocked pro shop, a golfer's terrace restaurant with the view on the course, function rooms, seminar rooms, while driving range enables you to warn up properly before walking this neat course

The course is relatively flat and plays to a par 72. From the blue tees the course is a stern test for middle and higher handicappers, while the friendly white end red tees make playing this course challenging and fun. When the wind is up, the course is not a walkover.

The 500 meter ( blue tee ) par 5 hole #7 is rated as the most difficult hole on the course, while the finishing hole, the 383 meter par 4, is rated as the second most difficult hole. However, various challenges for players of all levels of skill are also available.

Ciputra Golf covers 125 hectares of beautifully sculpted fairways and greens and is designed to be the venue for regional and international tournaments.

Designed by Andy Dye, the three layouts can be played in “mix & match&rdquo format. Ease of play makes the most popular combination that of the first nine, the Valley course, with the second nine, the Lake course.

The Hill course certainly is the “toughest&rdquo nine, and the typical “Dye&rdquo features are clearly evident on every hole: undulating fairway and greens, gaping and deep fairway bunkers and many unfriendly hazard that require carry.

Ciputra Golf  Country Club, on the whole, provides a most enjoyable experience. The 27 holes of golf are a fair test for players of all levels. The course maintenance is very good and the greens are outstanding.

The course, designed by acclaimed international golf course architects; Peter Thomson, Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perret, provides two distinctive “nines&rdquo starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The architects – whose pedigree include such courses as the New Course, St. Andrews, Scotland; The Royal Hongkong Golf Club; and the Bali Handara Country Club – have skilfully incorporated Finna's grounds and natural features into their design to create a golf experience to rival the best in the world. Many historical features scattered pot bunkers and the omnipresent clumps of lemongrass that guard the edge of the fairways. Thereafter, a cleanly struck wedge to a large green, nestled in between mounds and hollows and jealously guarded by a necklace of bunkers, should provide a birdie opportunity if you are lucky. Hole 5, for example, a Par 3 has true Indonesian flavour, with views of the countryside and Mt. Penanggungan.

The clubhouse with its beautiful terrace and cozy Spike bar, the Pool&rsquos Restaurant with its superb menu, the tastefully designed Deluxe cottages, each equipped with its own Jacuzzi, in – and outdoor showers, scheluded garden and panoramic mountain views, makes leaving the premises in order to find the same totally superfluous.
