Imperial Klub Golf is a first class public course. It is conveniently located alongside the Jakarta – Merak toll road and only a short 45 minute drive from Jakarta&rsquos city center. It&rsquos one of the very few public course in Indonesian and it has been created as the focal of the satellite town of Lippo Karawaci, a 500 hectare development project that aims at providing its residents and tenants a 21 st- century lifestyle environment.
Imperial was designed by British designer Desmond Muirhead, blending typically Indonesian features  with a conceptual course layout.
Each hole is given its own identity, name and specific feature and has therefore its own individuality.
The course is rather friendly but yet, challenging, when played from the back tee, which makes Imperial one of the most popular courses in and around Jakarta, and especially by tournament organizers.
To get to Imperial you have to take the Jakarta-Merak toll road and exit at Karawaci and the follow the sign boards.
